Hey ya’ll.
This weekend was my birthday and what a day it was. On Saturday, all of us in the CharlestonTinyhouse crew got together to make some progress on the house. Margaret came down from DC for the weekend and really helped make the weekend.
After our sponsor, Garry Norton of The TimberShop in Orangeburg, SC dropped off all this gorgeous Cypress siding and trim, there was quite a bit of work to be done. We got the ball rolling on a lot of things: got the trim put up around the windows and edges of the house, painted the windows and started staining all the siding ( a seemingly endless task). Here are some moments from this weekend:
Busy worksite.
Chemicals stink!
Make everything red.
Ipe plugs.
There are like 200 of these that have to be done. Thanks Nathan.
Margaret looks pretty happy doing even the most boring jobs.
Must be the Tinyhouse fever.
A beautiful birthday. Thanks friends.
